Hello! I am a VFX artist with around 3 years in the industry. I started doing freelance Houdini FX for film, then jumped to freelance compositing in Nuke on film and episodic work. I started as a full-time game FX artist at the end of December 2023 with Starmi working on Dragonspire. I've found my passion in making game FX there and am eager to continue down this path in any way. I love to learn and would like to become more technically adept with FX so I may be a more useful team member.
Outside of FX, I like to do 3D printing! I primarily make my own models, print, and paint them all. I love to make natural scenes, Altoid tin koi ponds are my latest favorite thing to make! I love to get out and explore new places with friends and try new restaurants (I'm a big foodie). I save gaming as a hobby for last since it's kind of a given, but my latest favorites are Warhammer: Darktide, Kingdom: Two Crowns, Death Stranding, Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom and It Takes Two.
I'm really passionate about FX in general, I love learning anything in the realm of FX. Right now, I am interested in learning more about Houdini for use in Unreal. Exploring new art styles is fun for me too, there's always something you can learn from new styles to apply elsewhere, same thing goes for technical skills, the more I learn, the more I'm able to apply those skills elsewhere. I take pride in being an easy to work with team member as well as being able to function independently when necessary. I am no stranger to long hours but I do value a work/life balance and will always make sure I am in a healthy enough mental and physical state where I am able to give it my all. Lastly, I value a workplace that values me and my growth as an artist, any place that allows me to learn and thrive as an artist is my favorite kind of place and I will do my best to give back to the studio as much as I can.
